  • What types of events can you host?

    The Dome is available for a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, engagement celebrations, networking events, private dinners, product launches and more. If you have something specific in mind, our team will be happy to discuss how we can bring your event to life.

  • The Dome’s venue can accommodate up to 60 guests cabaret style, 100 theatre style, 150 standing within the Dome, and a total capacity of 200 people.

  • Yes. The Dome is fully licensed to host civil ceremonies, allowing you to celebrate both your ceremony and reception in one stunning venue. For more information or to discuss your plans, contact hello@thedomemanchester.co.uk.

  • Our local registrar is Manchester City Council. You'll need to contact them directly to book your registrar for your ceremony.

  • While The Dome doesn't offer on-site accommodation, there are plenty of nearby hotels for you and your guests. Contact our sales team at bookings@shikogroup.co.uk for our recommended options.

  • Yes. The Dome is fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring all guests can comfortably enjoy your ceremony and celebrations. If you have any specific accessibility requirements, our team will be happy to help.

  • Yes. The Dome holds comprehensive public liability insurance. If you require a copy of our insurance certificate, please contact our team and we'll be happy to provide it.

  • No, we don't offer corkage or allow external alcohol. The Dome has a fully stocked bar serving a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with packages available to suit your celebration.

  • No. We kindly ask that all food is provided by our in-house catering team, who offer a range of menus that can be tailored to suit your wedding or event.

  • We operate a fully cashless business on pre-paid events and on the day spends. 

  • Are we allowed our own suppliers?

    Yes. You're welcome to use your own suppliers for your wedding or event. We simply ask that each supplier provides a copy of their Public Liability Insurance before your event so they can work on site.

  • Yes. The Dome has an integrated speaker system available for your event, along with an XLR connection for live bands and DJs to plug into.

  • Smoking and vaping are permitted in the designated outdoor areas only. Unfortunately, they are not allowed inside the venue.

  • The Dome is located on the rooftop of the ABC Building in Manchester city centre.
